- Due to the need to produce a workable requirements document by this Friday, the 13th, the Domain & Discovery document that the class has been working on has been put on hold while we concentrate on requirements.
- Work on requirements began last Friday. This work continued through Monday night and a first draft has been delivered this morning (Tuesday 2/10/09)
- Assignments given to my team over the weekend were disappointing overall. Only one team member completed the work expected of him. Of the five team members given assignments, having only 20% participation was a major setback.
Current Weeks Objectives
- Await TPS' feedback from our first draft of the requirements document this Tuesday.
- Create a second revision to the requirements this Wednesday to produce another draft Thursday.
- Make any additional modifications to the requirements for a final copy this Friday, 2/13/09.
Issues & Concerns
My team has shown an overall lack of enthusiasm towards the course and the work required to complete assignments. Extra time provided to complete assignments has been largely wasted. Quality and effort have been, for the most part, lacking. Moving forward I plan to reduce time alloted for deliverables, and demand a higher quality of work from the entire team. Failure to comply will result in a deduction in grades.
